Spring Fling

For March the challenge was to find inspiration from a caterpillar, moth and butterfly. I wanted similar colors and slightly off beat designs.
For the butterfly I wanted to use the wings as the dress it's self, so the skirt is actually two pieces that overlap and fall beneath the 'abdomen'.
The caterpillar, I wanted to do a tight fitting dress to mimic the long sleek figure of the insect.
Lastly, the moth. I saw all of the curves and 'cut-outs' and thought of clothing much the same. Improvised chaps that are bound beneath the knee and hook at the thigh. The top is two pieces, the red 'vest' and the grey 'bolero' which goes underneath.
