Description

Piece 2:12

This is not as literal as my Project Runway rendition of Aries as a matter of fact none of those in this series are going to be. I am basing each off of the 12 zodiac signs as they pertain to the birth years of friends and family; including the subcategories of the elements and yin/yang.

And I introduce the Rooster... Well, Roosters... I guess, but then wouldn't one be a hen? Like the Ram should have been a Ewe?
Blah, Whatever!

Now there are two here so I'll start with the most prominent - The guy's outfit was based on my son's birth year of 2005. His element was Wood under Yin; Season: Spring; Color: green; Body System: liver. This sign is supposed to be the epitome of the strong silent type, and for his over all rundown it's based upon someone who is warm and like to seek out exploration in any field.
I went a bit futuristic with it while keeping almost an eastern theme as that is his directional. The outfit would most likely be made of fine suit linen in earth tones, the piping would be the green attribute as well as the buttons, most likely a dark leaf green.

Okay, I've gone into fashion history for the woman's outfit which was based on my birth year of 1981. My element was Metal under Yin; Season: Autumn; Color: white; Body System: lungs. It's the total opposite of the man's version in that the rundown attributes to someone who is passionate about areas of life, as well as, sophisticated. East to West - from the more asian basis to european.
I see silks, muslin, satin and embroidery on the bodice. The model would be powdered and so is the hair, while the dress would be in golds and cremes to keep with the colors of fall. The necklace was inspired by one I found here on DevArt and I just thought it would be perfect: [link] While the pearls would not be white but those lovely brown toned pearls you can find now: [link]
