FFC: Year Long - November UPDATED

This month, as stated in the title, is November.

My influences were:
- Guy Fawkes Night (Nov. 5th) - so couldn't help it!
- The many Revolutionary days in the month
- Fashion of the late 1500's

Yes, it is glaringly obvious that I focused mostly on Guy Fawkes (the mask is a t shirt stock photo) but I have my reasons. There seems to be a pattern of revolutionary remembrances, revolts and rebels in November. The Gunpowder Plot is merely one that has most recently become 'popular'. I adore history! Also, current events in the US and around the world that resemble the uprisings of the poor against the rich and corrupted governments. I will admit to also reciting the poem of the Gunpowder Plot while drawing this...

the Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I see no reason why Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, t’was his intent to blow up King and Parliament.

Yes, I'm leaving out the second verse here (even though I say it) 'cuz I don't need people flaming me for bad mouthing the Pope.
I didn't put too many military details on this design as I wanted to keep it simple. I wanted those touches that would resemble what "commoners" of the day would wear to keep in honoring the revolutionaries that inspired it. The sack dress just seemed to fit the whole image better then something, more fitted. I will admit to liking leggings and riding boots together so I topped it off with that and a V lob cut.

I decided to NOT smudge out my highlights and shading this time - again (let me know what you think... I personally like it).
